Cupcake Case Daffodils
If you are looking for a last minute, easy Easter craft to do with the kids, I have just the thing for you! A bouquet of lovely Easter daffodils (in German they are known as ‘Osterglocken’, which translates as ‘Easter bells’), made from cupcake cases.
All you need are:
- large cupcake cases in white and yellow
- small cupcake cases in yellow and orange
- a pencil
- scissors
- a glue stick
- green pipe cleaners
- sticky tape
Step 1: Flatten out one of the large cupcake cases, then fold it in half, then in half again, and one last time.
Step 2: With the scissors, cut a round shape off the top, as shown in the photo, then open out the case. You can use a pencil to mark it out first, to help you.
Step 3: Glue one of the small cupcake cases, in a contrasting colour, in to the middle of the large case. We went for white with orange or yellow, and yellow with orange.
Step 4: Stick a pipe cleaner on to the back.Finished!

What a great idea! Such an easy craft and it’s always nice to have daffodils that don’t need to be thrown out after a week!

These are lovely! Daffodils are our national flower here in Wales so this would work as a St David’s Day craft as well as Easter. Will have to remember for next year!

These are such a fab idea, I can see my two really enjoying this simple craft. I will have to see if I can find some plain cupcake cases. Plus they have the added bonus of not needing watering! xx

Awh, we used to made these at school when I was a kid! Oh memories :)
